Research on Performance Optimization of Liquid Cooling and Composite Phase Change Material Coupling Cooling Thermal Management System for Vehicle Power Battery

چکیده

The serpentine tube liquid cooling and composite PCM coupled thermal management system is designed for 18650 cylindrical power batteries, with the maximum temperature difference of pack within optimal operating range as target. initial analysis battery at a 5C discharge rate, influence single cell to distance, number tubes, inlet coolant temperature, flow other factors on heat dissipation performance pack, initially determined reasonable value each design parameter. A control strategy used regulate rate in order make full use latent reduce pump’s energy consumption. simulation results show that 309.8 K 4.6 between individual cells are battery, utilization up 90%.
